Managing four properties remotely, especially in locations with connectivity challenges like the idyllic island of Fernando de Noronha, was a challenge for the group of partners based in Florianópolis.
Initially, reservations and operations were managed manually using spreadsheets, which limited the ability to expand its presence on OTAs (Online Travel Agencies) such as Booking.com and created obstacles in the efficient management of hotel operations.
The group's first property in Fernando de Noronha was Pousada Triângulo, which had only two rooms and was only listed on an OTA.
According to businesswoman Elizandra Soares, being present on just one platform made it "easier to manage reservations in a spreadsheet without the risk of overbooking." However, when they realized that the business could face more challenges if they expanded their presence on OTAs, the search for a management system began.
